• He produces under two names Suga also goes by the alias Agust D, which he uses for his solo rap mixtapes to show a more raw and personal side of his music. 
• He started as a producer before idol life 
• Before debuting with BTS, he was already producing and selling beats locally in Daegu, South Korea, working under the name “Gloss.” 
• He overcame a serious injury early in his career 
• He once had a shoulder injury from a motorcycle accident that still affects him today, and he has spoken openly about living with chronic pain while performing. 
• He writes and produces a lot of BTS songs
•  Suga has been involved in writing and producing many BTS tracks, as well as songs for other artists like IU (“Eight,” which he co-produced and featured on).
